The story of the Christmas Three this 2010...

Dec 5 - Christmas Party for the orphans (New Faith Family Children's Home, Cainta, Rizal) (Project of Chris Daniel Nabiong)

Around 30 kids were made happy that Sunday afternoon. Fun games were played by the kids & the kids at heart!

After racing, stop-dancing and painting pictures, the children munched on burgers and spaghetti.

Aside from receiving Christmas gifts, they felt familial love from the Ates and Kuyas who spent the afternoon with them.

Dec 11 - Turn over of
Php 10,000 donation (Php 5,000 each) to the PGH Medical Foundation and Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation / Visit & Gift-giving to the children at the PGH Pediatric Ward. (Project of a group of college friends)

Contributions of friends plus Christmas Three allocation for this project paved the way for the Php 10,000 total donations to the two PGH-based foundations. Special thanks to Sir Andy of the PGH Medical Foundation and to Dr. Ruter Maralit of the Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation.

Disclaimer: Receipts were issued under the name of the check account holder but acknowledgements are rightfully given to all donors.

The next stop was at the pediatric ward, where 45 kids and teens were confined. No pictures were taken during the visit to the pediatric ward as such is prohibited in the hospital. The common illnesses of the kids were meningitis, hydrocephalus and brain tumors. These children, at a very young age lost their sight, their ability to speak and have spent their days in the hospital instead of going to school. By giving story books, the parent to child bonding is reinforced. Christmas gifts and loot bags were also distributed.

Special thanks to April Joy Cabansag, Melissa Anne Martin & Nerisse Irene Sebastian who joined the visit and also made extra in-kind donations (such as gifts & storybooks).

Christmas - the Season of Sharing & Giving

Do you have the desire to help but has little to give or share?

Are you helping out our less-fortunate brothers and sisters but still needs more funds?

Fear no more, be jolly, be merry and celebrate...

CHRISTMAS THREE is here!!

The CHRISTMAS THREE project was born out of the intention to help out individually-organized charity projects that lack the funds and thus, need the help of those who have something to spare. Three projects or initiatives were chosen as beneficiaries. With just a minimal donation of Php 300, you can help save a life, make an orphaned kid's Christmas merry, and give comfort to a disabled kid. In-kind donations are also accepted.

Save a life. Help fund the medical bills of an ICU patient of the Philippine General Hospital. Want to do an act of corporal mercy? Come join us visit the sick at PGH on Dec 11 (Sat).

Merry Christmas for an Orphan. Contribute in giving a merry merry Christmas Party to the kids of NEW FAITH FAMILY CHILDREN'S HOME, Lot 3, Blk. 2 # 3.5 Sitio Dilain, Brgy. San Juan Cainta, Rizal. The party will be held on Dec 5 (Sunday), 3PM.

Comfort to a disabled kid. Grant the wishes (from curtains to bedsheets to wheelchairs) of the kids from Stimulation and Therapeutic Activity Center (STAC) Kalibo.

Matthew 25:34-40

"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
